I WORE THIS TO SCHOOL #1

posted on: Tuesday, July 29, 2014

Been ignoring my blog for the longest time and instead, focusing my creative juices more onto my youtube channel, linked here. I have always loved watching youtube videos more than scrolling through blogs, so I guess this change/step was necessary, hahaha.

I present to you a video I filmed and edited in under 4 hours, crammed, because a. I have 0 time to film (classic excuse) and b. I had to edit the video before I go out to watch She's Dating the Gangster with a bunch of my friends (no regrets,) AND get my laptop fixed (it has a huge vertical glitch on the screen. :( + this laptop has my editing software so I really had to finish this video! See you in 2 weeks, lappy!) Nonetheless, I hope you liked the 5 outfits I put together for school (I wore all of them already) and that you have enjoyed watching the video. Take care!! (so much parenthesis!!)

DIY WIRE WRAPPED ROCK NECKLACES

posted on: Monday, June 16, 2014

Heya! Today, I will be showing you how I made these DIY Wire Wrapped Crystal/Rock Necklaces. I've been seeing these types of videos ALL OVER my Instagram newsfeed and I just couldn't resist making my own. I'm a really cheapskate when it comes to accessories because I feel like I won't use them as much as they are worth. So, alternatively, I just decided to make my own. They will cost you almost nothing especially if you use a rock. :)

Things you need:

Wire (Please use a thin type! You can find this in any hardware store.)
Crystal or Rock (I bought my crystal in London but try Divisoria, maybe?)
Jump Rings, Lobster Hooks, and chains (I already had these from my bracelet making phase, hahaha but I bought them from Divisoria) *tip: you can deconstruct your old necklaces for this!

Here is a video I made showing you how I made the necklaces! Essentially, all you need to do is wrap wire around the rock (search design inspiration on etsy, Instagram, etc.) and you're halfway there! haahaha Incredibly easy and straightforward.

I hope you enjoyed this post and that you would try making one yourself. Have a great week!
Also, if you had your first day of class today, I hope you had a great one! :)

BLACK TO SCHOOL

posted on: Tuesday, June 3, 2014

Hey everyone! I was inspired to make a video yesterday, so I decided to do one on back to school outfit ideas, as it is June. I styled four outfits that all have the colour black in them. All of the outfits are super comfy and laid back, perfect for school. I noticed that 3 of the 4 outfits I styled have a thrifted item in them, so yay for school outfits on a budget! I hope you guys enjoy the video. Thank you so much for watching. :)
