RETREAT

People never realize how much blessed they are, and how other people have it much worse than them. Last week, I went on my Seniors' retreat, and it was such an eye opener for me. I'm really happy that I got to go on that trip with my friends and just bond with them because of our limited time together since graduation is fast approaching. During the 5 days of the trip, I grew as a person, spiritually and emotionally. I've learned to be aware of other people's perspective and emotions because you can never fully grasp, feel, and understand how another person is feeling. What may mean nothing to you, may mean so much to them, and may even hurt them. Always be careful and aware with what you say and you do.

I've learned to be thankful for my family, we may not be a perfect family, but at least we're all together and healthy. For my friends, I may not be close to all of them, but those little times that we had, and were honest with each other are just something worth remembering and reliving. (Testimonial night) For God's wonderful creations- nature. Everything that He created is just so breathtaking and beautiful. I went to the waterfalls with my friends and it was probably the most outdoors-y thing I've ever done. We had to walk through the woods and climb over the steep hills (yeah, I'm lame,) but it was worth it because when we got to the falls, it was just so fun (even though my foot hurt because of the annoying little rocks, ) and we grew closer because we had to really help each other through the rapid waters and climbing a big rock (to get a picture haha yeah, we were giving out ass boosts.)

For opportunities, like meeting new friends, learning more about people, and of course, the spiritual retreat. For food, I am a very picky eater, I never finish the food off my plate, but I just learned how to finish my food and remember that there are other people in the world who have nothing to eat so I'm blessed to have three or more meals a day. For rest, man, I need to catch up with my sleep (I didn't go to school today booyeah my first time to skip school HAHAH) because everyday we slept at midnight (at least) and I always woke up at 4:30 :( For heaters, I showered at 5:30 (or earlier) and the water was so so so cold, and freezing. HAHAH

Just learn to be thankful for everything you have, and always give back to God. :)
